Kwak̓wala

KwakÌ“wala is a Northern Wakashan language spoken mostly in British Columbia, Canada. There are about 350 speakers of KwakÌ“wala and they refer to themselves as Kwakwaka’wakw, meaning “the people who speak the language KwakÌ“wala”. There are four dialects of KwakÌ“wala: KwakÌ“wala, ’NakÌ“wala, G̱ucÌ“ala and TÌ“Å‚atÌ“Å‚asikÌ“wala.
