Denaakk'e, also called Koyukon, is one of nine Athabaskan languages spoken in the Doyon region of Alaska. It is critically endangered; fewer than 300 people still speak the language.
A 2013 collaboration between 7000 Languages, Doyon Foundation, and Yukon-Koyukuk School District produced over 100 vocabulary lists. Doyon Foundation is now working to produce 10-unit courses in Denaakk'e and 4 other languages, which will be available by 2019.
