Cree is a First Nations language of Canada spoken by about 120,000 people. It is part of the Algonquian language family and has at least 4 varieties, including Swampy Cree, Plains Cree, and Woods Cree.

Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre developed a Cree course in 2011. It features a Quick Start course of 10 lessons, plus more than 85 general vocabulary lessons.
